We Prestigious National Award for Pace Systems International

Pace Systems International brilliant young Chief Research and Development Engineer, 25 year old Syed Kazmi MSc BSc was honoured in a glittering London event recently when he was named as Young Business Leader of Tomorrow.

The national award was for his outstanding achievements in cutting edge design technology which has resulted in a 50% increase in Pace Systems International sales of new products over the past two years.

Pace Systems International Managing Director, Les Leek said, “We are incredibly proud of Syed’s achievement which is very well deserved. This is a tremendous achievement which has been recognised in our growth in sales both at home and abroad.”

Syed has also been honoured for his national achievements by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and the Mayor of Rugby at ceremonies since the national award.

Pace Systems International Ltd will be holding a series of two day “Roadshow” exhibitions starting later this year at sixteen locations throughout the United Kingdom.

Jeremy Wright MP visits Pace

Jeremy Wright, Member of Parliament for Rugby and Kenilworth visited the company on Friday 24 July 2009 at 2pm to meet their Research and Design team and Professor Geoff Tansley from Aston University.

The company now sponsors one of the country’s top young design specialists at its Rugby headquarters in a partnership with the university and the government Knowledge Transfer Partnership.

Pace Systems International Ltd are proud to announce that one of most decorated Special Forces soldiers has recently joined us as our Military Adviser.

 

Seiko "Tak" Takavesi DCM, a distinguished veteran of The Battle of Mirbat and many other 22 SAS operations throughout the world, will act as our Military Adviser with defence and overseas contracts.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)

Pace Systems International Ltd are in the final stages of design and testing of a rotary wing unmanned aerial vehicle code named “Athena” aimed at the Military, Law Enforcement , Government Agency and Commercial sectors.

This cutting edge technology will provide a robust and rugged aerial capability in any terrain in the world with a real time downlink from onboard video cameras to operators in the field. The video footage can then be immediately transmitted to a field or remote location if required using microwave or 3G systems.  

“Athena” has been successfully tested in adverse weather conditions, weighs less than ten kilograms, and is easily transportable by one operator in its own rugged case.

With the new technology available on “Athena”, training time is reduced from months to a one week intensive course.

VIP Project (Vehicle Integrated Project)

Pace Systems International Ltd are proud to be prime partners in the new Vehicle Integrated Project (VIP) with other top international companies.

This consortium can now offer to our clients’ unrivalled experience in the supply, armour, surveillance and communications ability, training and maintenance of any vehicle in any country in the world.

This new group provides a complete specialty vehicle capability from initial concept through to in service support.

   

The consortium launched the VIP project at the DVD 2009 show at Millbrook.

On stand was the Toyota Landcruiser 76 ballistic test car, Modular Armoured door concept, latest hot form ballistic steel technology, compact MIL STD power conversion systems and surveillance technology.

The ballistic test car exhibited our commitment to ballistic and blast protection by demonstrating the vehicle withstood over 500 shots, 2 explosions to the roof, 4 detonations to the floor and a 15Kg blast to the side of the vehicle.

Both covert and overt video camera systems are available for this type of vehicle with totally integrated and secure recording and transmission facilities.
